Arena 123 - TVRI National Public Broadcaster

Explore the World, Love Indonesia

2022 — Remote Working from Wonosobo, Indonesia.

Arena 123 is a legendary Indonesian early childhood edutainment show that has aired since the 1990s on TVRI. Hosted by the iconic Devi Monica and her animated sidekick Ruru, the show takes kids on global adventures to learn about other cultures, geography, science, and human values—all while rooting them in pride for their own country.

The goal is simple but bold: make Indonesian kids smart, globally aware, and proudly local—not Western-worshipping.

I stepped in to revamp the visual and auditory packaging to make it fun, colorful, and snappy—so it speaks the native language of Gen Alpha. From dry old-school TV to dopamine-friendly motion graphics.

“I don’t just edit videos—I edit how kids see the world and see themselves in it. This show is a passport, and I just made it way more fun to stamp.”
